In July of 2014 I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia...
FIBRO WHAT? Fibromyalgia is a disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain accompanied by fatigue, sleep, memory and mood issues. Researchers believe that fibromyalgia amplifies painful sensations by affecting the way your brain processes pain signals.
So I went the medicine route because my pains were so severe. After about 1 month I got tired of watching myself from 10' behind and feeling as though I was not myself. So I successfully removed the medicine from my system after many months of withdrawals. Something had to give. It just had to.
What I did add was Shakeology®, I figured it was nutrient dense, full of vitamins and minerals so I will just give it a shot. By December, I was pain free. By December, I was brain fog free. By December, I stopped acupuncture for migraines and body aches. By December, I was back to being ME!! By December, I started to finally loose weight!!
Again, I am not a doctor, but after doing a lot of research I knew I needed something for my vitamins and minerals. Although everyone is different, I share this story with you because I was a 31 year old mother of two with Fibromyalgia and would get out of bed begging for the pains to stop, begging to just be me again. No more headaches, no more pains, no more brain fog.
